US Healthcare: The Future’s Not a Repeat of its Past

“As 2022 begins, every healthcare operator, investor and regulator is calibrating adjustments to the omicron pandemic, inflation, political dysfunction and influx of private investment in the health system. What’s also needed is a discussion about the long-term role our health system should play in our society and economy.

 I believe the future of the U.S. system is a not a repeat of its past, and changes in the next 5 years will be more significant than those in the prior 20. Here’s my rationale: (link).
